Clyde F.C. come the Scottish football team currently swimming in the First Division of the Scottish Football League. It is presently managed by Graham Roberts
Nicknamed 'A Bully Wee', it were founded within 1877 at Barrowfield Park and presently play their football at Broadwood stadium in Cumbernauld. Their primary colours come red, white & black, & club honours include winning a Scottish Cup in 1939, 1955 and 1958. A title 'Clyde' comes from either a River Clyde which flows through Glasgow.
Despite finishing third within the Scottish League in 1967, Clyde were refused entry to the Fairs Cup due to the "one club per city" rule. Rangers, who finished 2nd, lean Glasgow's place. So Clyde stand never certified for European competition.
When Xx years at Barrowfield Park since a foundation, the Club moved to Shawfield Stadium. Within 1986, the Club left there & shared Firhill stadium of Partick Thistle for 5 years. Fallowing that time, a Club so shared a personal sports stadium of Hamilton Accies. Eventually a Club moved to their present personal, Broadwood Stadium, which is in the New Town of Cumbernauld.
Clyde's traditional contender clubs come a Old Firm and Partick Thistle which are all inside Glasgow.
